After an inspection occurred, then they would come treat the inspection and install bait and trench protection. Their recommendation was to just go with the monthly payment bond and no prevention until termite infection occurred. They wanted $2,000 to install bait and trench around the house followed by monthly payment for termite bond. Initial quote to provide pro-active treatment was very overpriced. Several items about Terminix that should raise red flags:1. Very satisfied with our service with Terminix and our technician Gina Smith, who is a wonderful, charming lady! Thanks so much to Gina and Terminix! We will see in t wo weeks how it goes, but if further assistance needed, Gina told me to call Terminix for another flea control, so I am not worried. We may have to wait and see how our garage goes, because we had mass amount of fleas in our garage and when I went into our garage today to vacuum, saw multiple fleas jump on my socks. Its only been one day so far and I can already see the result inside our home. Our technician, Gina Smith came to our house the day after I made the call and did general pest control for inside and outside of our home, and did flea control as well. Not only offered flea control, Terminix offered pest control in general which included flea control as well at a great rate! Cancelling our roach spray service (and only for cockroaches and nothing else!) with the other company we had and will go with Terminix for our entire pest control. Terminix had the best reviews online so called right away. Finally gave up, google searched to hire a company for flea control. We had a flea infestation at our house for about two weeks and we tried to take care of it on our own. Unprofessional and disappointing customer service all around I would not recommend. Now the only chance I have of getting our money back is to dispute this through our bank. The customer service rep refused to refund any of the three months we pre-paid, but I was told a manager would call me back within 24 hours to discuss. I chose to cancel the contract, because if they were handling it this poorly to start I knew it would probably be a problem in the future. It took a few days for somebody to respond to my phone call and when they did I was told there was no appointments available for a few weeks, which would then be 5 to 6 weeks from the original service (keep in mind we were paying for monthly service and a two week follow up after the first service). First service went well enough, but when nobody showed up for the two-week follow up I called customer service, because we were still seeing a lot of ants in and around the house. The nerve of this entire company to disregard my time and my need in the home I own!! I will never do business with them again and I strongly recommend going with a servicer that will actually listen to your requests for your house.įrustrating experience find another pest control service. ![]() To clarify, I asked if it was cancelled prior to me just now calling in to which she said yes, it was. told me that it had already been cancelled. I then called Terminix back to cancel my service and the rep. I called Orkin and they are coming out today and also take care of unidentifiable bugs. I waited and spoke to two additional reps and still no calls from the local office and they would not give me a number so that I could call the local office myself. The corporate office has given me the run-around for days and telling me that they put in for a reschedule and the local office should be calling me. I dont want anyone in my house if they are not comfortable with being here so I walked him out and called the office back to have someone else come out. I advised him that almost all other units in my row ARE signed up with pest control and he still did not spray. he felt that since this is a townhome the spray would not be effective unless all the units are being sprayed. ![]() The bug that I am seeing most, he was not familiar with and advised that I capture one and take it to the county exterminator. Once he finally arrived, he said he felt my home did not need to be sprayed. The day before service, the professional texted my brother to push the appointment time and would only communicate with him. I was the primary person on the account and added my brother as the back up. I was advised to empty the kitchen and bathroom cabinets so that they could spray everything down, including the attic and crawl spaces (new construction and I wanted everything done). I signed up with Terminix early this week and they set my appointment for Thursday between 10-12.
